Anyone else feel the economy is stagnation?

Just sucks they stagnated the economy in this day and age , when if they google the 100's mmos out there and seen all the one spent 100k+ real money to fixed it in last 6 years. They could have avoided it. Like there trying to reinvent the wheel on it. If they look at a few the company that have spends millions on economist advisers and got it to work, so the rest of the mmo market no longer need to do it. Hope they got common sense and pay a guy to research it. Should not be a issue.

I have noticed that no matter what I put up, someone is always undercutting me by...well. Okay, I put a pet up on the Marketboards, and some guy came along this morning and undercut me by 50k. When I asked him why he would do that, he said, "You're gouging people and that's not fair!"

It's like that in every market. People are undercutting by extreme amounts. It's quite frankly ridiculous.

There was at least one point in time they said they plan on letting you only take one craft past level 50. Whether that is still the plan, I have no idea. It was said though.

"stagnation" is an overstatement IMO, but things have slowed down a lot because a lot of people are hoarding their gil and not spending it or are only willing to spend smaller amounts. The market is getting oversaturated because people don't want to spend gil, not because there's nothing they'd want to buy.

I didn't need to buy anything from the market except the weapons and materia I need to complete the relic quests. but with the new titan weapon and ex-primal weapon being as good as relic/+1 .. I prob won't bother with relic anymore. High lvl Gears drops like crazy in dungeon while crafted gears are super expensive. low level gears are useless as I can wear lvl 13 gears from lvl 1 to lvl 50 and go straight into AF/DL. Furniture sales are sucking for obvious reason.

Ask yourself. what exactly does an average player need market place for? My answer is: Nothing

Be good to remind people though that SE said a lot of things in regards to 2.0 that have not panned out though. And some that may have been scrapped altogether.
I'll list an example - Remember they said all dungeon loot was going to be like crystal tower? With letting players only cast a Need roll 3 times per week win or lose? A lot of things and designs change over time. However the taking one craft only past level 50 did seem like a decent idea.

Which of course, crafted items (non HQ) are as good as dungeon drops, and HQ are better (darklight quality). Only thing better than crafted gear is raid gear (CT, Coil, Trials, Myth gear).

Se should probably go a more WoWish method. Recipes for high level armor only drop in coil, as do mats. Let people craft say lvl 80 or 85 items with extreme effort and sell them for an outstanding price. Nothing is really hard to obtain materials for anymore with the phil prices crashed to nothing. However giving an item that requires a mat from Twintania has a lot of value still.

They aren't as good. In particular, the Titan weapon isn't upgradeable, and the ex-primal weapon has the wrong stats for several classes. :-P
