have a look on a site like xivdb to see where you can improve your gear a little. No huge improvements but every little helps. You may need to do dungeon runs to get gear much better than the stuff you have though. Not sure if it'd be an advantage levelling whm to lvl 8 for protect and going in as thm rather than blm or not.

I had a lot of trouble with this quest as well when I was lvling my BLM. Always kill ads first, and once the boss turns into a dragon, kite it and kill everything with Scathe and use Sleep if you have the time to pull it off. It feels very cheap, but it gets the job done.

Should try this on WHM. I think it took me around 10 tries for each part of this section of the story. I think the only time I used food in a fight too.

I think the only time I've died on a quest as a WHM or Scholar was one of my CNJ quests at like, level 25.

Definitely one of the more irritating fights. Don't have a strategy really, I just threw myself at it till I beat it. (can't remember the max level that you can be for it, but that might help as well though it means grinding a bit)

I don't really remember this fight, but if you're BLM and there's a Wyvern is it possible to sleep it?

It's difficult to stop and heal when the dragon is following only me, either I die first or the NPCs do and the duty fails, it's so frustrating

Am I wearing good gear, is there anything better I could buy to help me? I only recently got the weapon, and the cowl I got from a dungeon it's similar to one I was wearing before and it seems like it's quite powered like nothing else I saw came close to it in stats so I've been wearing it for a while now.

You could always grind Cutter's for better accessories and SV for some gear. Dungeon gear > Market gear. What I remember of that fight is having to kite it and cure myself a few times.

Been using <mo> since day one basically. The problem is casting when the dragon is trying to eat you.

Just want to add <mo> is like a requirement for WHM's on PC if they want to cure fast. The only thing that sucks is <lt> and what not do not trigger with <mo>.

I think I figured out that running into him would cut off some of his casts, but it has been a really long time. I recall having a much worse time with the "execution" part of the questline earlier. Honestly, I hated Coerthas and most of the quests, so I've blocked them out of my conscious memory. >.>
