Dragon battles of Ishgard

the dragon main weapon are not really the ice nor the blade, even if it's a picture, i don't feel that dragon are what pointed there, but i can be wrong.

I wouldn't be so quick to make assumptions based on that - look what happened with the 'blade of might and blade of light' one - most player theories about it ended up completely wrong (it simply referred to the end of the main scenario - 'the blade of light' being the player and 'the blade of might' being Gaius and the Empire. And we all know how that turned out.

To be honest I didn't take much notice of the Louisoix quote - I was more intrigued by the Yoshi-P artwork: is that Fat Chocobo I spy hiding behind the ahriman?

These are really good ideas, any others? I mean it'd be really awesome if Ishgard finally opened it's gates or if we got some of the lands back from 1.0 Coerthas that are gated off in 2.0

In all seriousness though, would be great if Ishgard opens up with three new Classes... Wishful thinking, but I really want Fencer already... Almost certain that last line is about the Dalamud wreckage in Coerthas though; they were blades after all. It's covered in snow; rime kissed. Unsheathed; it activates. Crimson o'er fields of white; well, just go there...

Huh... now that you mention it... There's so very little we know of Coerthas. As for Boulder Downs becoming an enterance to Coils, that is extremely possible. Think about it. There's the Wall of Fire in Eastern Thanalan, there's that gigantic crater in Limsa by Morby Dry Docks. Mr Happy referred to these as fragments of Dalamud and Bahamut's longivity. Who knows? I do believe a huge war will be wage in Coerthas. Crimson will stain the white. Almost certain on that.

I think this is refering to the entrance of the next coil turn. We do know they are scattered all around the Eorzea and there's some kind of allagan thing in Cohertas (if i remember correctly you do one of the dragoon's quests in that spot) that is red and kind of blade shaped

We won't get Ishgard access until the 1st expansion. That said this could easily set the stage as to why Ishgard will be opening it's gates.
