It took me a few days to reach 50, and 50 was when I met speed runners for the CM runs.. Saying that I'm rude/mean/terrible for watching cutscenes. :/

I've been lucky to have only had 2 bad ones so far. One was a very high lvl player and I guess because of that she felt the need to treat everyone else in the party (two of which were new) like we were all newbies. When I finally commented about her behavior, she responded really rudely, trying to start an argument. I just kinda laughed it off and didn't make a big deal of it to save face, but it did get on my nerves.
The other was when a friend and I joined a party with 2 people who were also friends. For some reason, the healer would only heal her friend and not me or mine. After dying for the 3rd time, I asked why and she said she was only there to "help a friend get some gear, not to make friends". It made no sense! We chalked it up to maybe trolling and luckily never ran into them again.
Other than that, it's been a mostly pleasant experience. I'm sure there are other instances that could be considered nasty, but those are the only two that really stuck out as rude and nasty.
Just when I hit level 50 I met them everywhere. The first was on Castrum.

I started playing in July (beta phase 2), then played through early access as well.
First nasty player I got was probably early this month when I was helping out with Titan HM. He (damage dealer) joined our party, went all out on the boss the moment the barrier was down and then left us with "come ask me again when you got BC cleared" or something like that. If I remember correctly, it was a full local server party, mostly our FC buddies with a few outsiders.
It turned out that the player was already a well known jerk/troll.
Other than that, I've had my shares of instant-quitters and so on, but I don't think I've had any that looked down on people and used aggressive/abusive words. In-game, that is. On the forum...well...it's the opposite I think. :3
Just to add: I did most of my content with FC people, so that may be why.

Just ignore the party chat if you get one of "those" players, and concentrate on healing. You'll see much more of them at level 50.The thing is we fought Ifrit twice and it was while we were fighting Ifrit that the rude user just started shouting "NOOB" "NOOB" "Wipe". After that we all got killed. I blame myself for that because this guy was screaming and while I'm trying to heal, I'm trying to read his posts too.
I think I saw my first angry players in Brayflox's Longstop... other than that, level 50 dungeons. Some people just can't stand a wipe when a new player is in group, they seem to forget how they were new once too. Had it last night in CT, we had 3 new people in group C so we wiped a few times, someone is group A was being an amazing douche about it.
~Quit moping, get hoping~

I met my first nasty user while running Brayflox for the first time in October. I was a new tank, and though I did research I didn't have any experience in that dungeon.
My initial group was doing well, but after the second boss we kept wiping. In retrospect I was pulling terribly, but no one guided or gave me tips. We lost our healer and the replacement was pretty nasty. After our first wipe we got into a disagreement about holding hate, to which my response was that the DPS needed to hold back a bit; his response was "Hate is your problem, not mine." From there it just went down hill, and once we beat the final boss his only response was "What the ####". I haven't played Brayflox's Longstop until this week, and I almost stopped tanking altogether.
First day i ran a lvl 50 instance....
Good place to add the really dick behavior I've started seeing lately of vote kicking a player then mass abandoning the instance, mostly for no reason at all
there have been a lot overall, the first was in my first week of playing the game, i was fortunate to have some very fun experiences in every dungeon and liked most people for the most part. However I joined my first garuda hm and i had my weaver gear on while waiting for que, (that was before i knew about gear set), so when the window popped up i only changed my weapon. As soon as we went in the tank just started the fight, my healing was obviously weak since all almost all my gear was weaver except the weapon. However the other healer was throwing such vile and childish insults like "noob healer", "kill yourself irl" etc, and more, this didn't stop through the whole run. This has been the only time in the game where i had to change from chatlog to battle log, cause i wasnt even going to respond to someone like that.
First real rude player I met was only a couple of days ago.
Signed up for low level duty roulette on my 50 PLD was 2 new players and a level 50 healer. So we buff and start. me pointing out things to the new players, healer tells me to rush. I say no. Healer shouts in chat "NO?!!!". Walks back to the entrance and stays there telling us to, quote, "kik me".
Which we refuse to do, he then goes on a rant. We report and chat in party. 15 minutes later he disappears. No idea if he finally left or was removed due to reports. New healer joins, we finish the dungeon and everyone is happy.
level 46 not sure how long ago that was.
Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.
Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!
