I was under the impression that with the Coil update in 2.2 they would also be adding in a new Tomestone level above Mythology.

What point exactly is that? That they notice that the prices they set is WAY over the top and are adjusting them pretty quickly? At this point what makes you think Personal housing will be this "overly" priced again? I think by the time personal housing comes they will already have a better understanding on how to price housing.
Keeping this quote so you can eat your words in a few months. What point exactly is that? That they notice that the prices they set is WAY over the top and are adjusting them pretty quickly? Like that's going to bother me? ( If I am wrong then sure I'll eat my words, what exactly will that do in the end?) I am just saying they acted very quickly to the uproar, and in return they should know that when pricing personal housing they need to do it fairly. ( Note that I too also disliked those overly priced houses myself and I am relieved that the priced FC houses are going down by alot).
Also, that's a very childish thing to do. That's like trying to pick a fight in high school. -.-

Bring new jobs and personal housing. Then I'll be excited.
This would make sense as new turns of Coil are going to be dropping i110 gear (assuming i100 is reserved for the next stage of CT).
Wasn't Shiva also due for release in 2.2? I remember the live letter announcing Leviathan and Shiva together and the OP's quote even mentions three new extreme primals despite only discussing Leviathan and Mog.
they said there will be no new egis for SMN unless they increase the lvl cap and they said that wont happen before 3.0 at leastCrossing my fingers that we at least get a lvl increase to 55 in 2.2 so I can get my hands on a Leviathan-Egi for SMN :3 Cause what's a Leviathan Primal w/o giving us SMN's a new summon!
/crossesfingers!!!
Though with Yoshi-P's dislike on SMN for some odd reason, I doubt it, but I'll hope just like I hoped on SMN back in XI for stuff...
so about 2.5 years to go
Well Level cap increase is more towards how they will handle the ilvl requirements for each story content in each Major update.
2.1 story required ilvl 54 and higher to progress through and if they follow a ilvl increase by 4 ilvl per update or more for each Main Story per Major update then they may force their own hands to increase level cap if story content passes ilvl 70 required before first expansion.
Still this is only if they progress the Main story too fast into higher item level requirements before first expansion since each story is required to have the older version Main story completed first before they can start the next part of the Main story.

Still disgusted by this decision they announced in their live letter:
So Vanity is being banned in PvP to cater to bad players that can't tell an opponent's class without EZ mode costume identification >_>Q: Will we be able to use the vanity system with PvP gear in the Wolves' Den?
A: Unfortunately, this won't be possible. Even if you’ve changed the appearance of your gear with the vanity system, such changes will not apply when you enter the Wolves' Den. This would allow players to deceive others by making it difficult to discern their true class or job, or to have everyone look exactly the same, which wouldn’t be fair. However, this restriction will only apply to PvP areas.
Anyone who gets deceived by another player's costume in PvP DESERVES their loss. Not to mention tons of MMOs allow vanity costumes in PvP. You never hear anyone complaining about it in those said games because it isn't a big deal. Just another overzealous restriction on Sqaure's part.
