Th one using a gamepad needs to tab, so there is a significant delay.
Having to take more than a second to select someone for a heal is an eternity.
Targeting enemies? Yes. Healing? No. Up/Down Dpad only selects party members, it's easy as pie for healing. Does not work well outside of parties though. The most constantly annoying problem with controller is selecting enemies. Like trying to pick out the war/pld mogs on moogle king fight. Or trying to select a specific enemy during first few CT mobs. I've never yelled at my TV while healing, only while tanking lol

Regardless... its not as fast as M+K which is my/leiron's point. In a 4 man its probably really close, to bad 4 man content isn't even worth discussing as none of it is even remotely relevant in terms of difficult as soon as a couple weeks after hitting 50. The more people there are in a group the wider the gap between console and M+K. Alliance size progression content will be an entire new challenge for console players. Can you imagine trying to use cover on 1 of any of the 23 other people in your party in an instant?

What this all spawned from is someone saying that console players were all lazy and shouldn't play the game. I completely disagree with that POV and voiced my thoughts that while M+K is better but console is far from this cardinal sin that someone was painting it to be. Then people started arguing that console is on par with M+K which simply isn't the case. Regardless of how you guys want to phrase it, regardless of all the, "what if bruce lee is using a PS3??" scenarios... it just isn't.

Use console, love console, argue that console is viable, that's all fine. But don't compare it to M+K.
