has anyoen said anythign about crafting?
what i mean is, when crafting higher level items if the Recipe calls for another item that you have to craft and you do not have it ATM, then i should be able to click the item and be taken directly to the crafting page for said item. i don't really want to have to go looking through every level rang to find the one item i need.. ESPECIALLY as you get higher in crafting levels the number of itmes you can make can get rather long and some items can be easily missed.
some might say just realize what material you need and go to that level range ( I.E if i need some type of bronze armor or item then i should go to the 6-10 range ) but that list can get quite long to look through even as you get higher up in crafting levels.
Since this thread gets so much attention, I would like to shamelessly plug my feature feedback/request, located in this post: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...20#post1735220
In a nutshell, the command: /chotbar set "Some Action" # slot
... should be possible with pet and companion actions, now that they are also macro-able.
Please and thanks, life as a summoner is almost perfect, just missing these changes to bridge the gap to fully flexible setups.

I am disappointed too.. The elezens didn't even get the lightning hair. All they implemented to the female elezen hair I think is the lalafel ponytail which doesn't fit quite right on an elezen. I was hoping to see longer hairstyles. That's how I seem to picture elves... With long flowing hairs."I was really disappointed. I see that the Miqotes got the popular Hyur hairstyle, but Hyur's didn't get any other race's hairstyles or anything new other than Lightning's hair..."

I also hope they can implement a wider selection of hairstyles for different races in the future. Including curlier or wavier hair.

More inventory space. That's all I want.

Pets:
Here's the thing, we can only have one pet out at a time. I cannot have Eos and Selene out, so having two separate sets of abilities for each is fairly redundant. Both have Embrace, yet I have to set Embrace twice for both of them. All pets abilities are "shared" in the sense that they have two Lv.1 abilities, a Lv.20 ability, and Lv.40 ability and (for Summoner), a Lv.50 ability. Rather than having to set Contagion, Landslide and Flaming Crush, we should be able to set one Lv.40 ability which changes to the corresponding ability depending on which pet is summoned. Same for all the pet abilities. The special Pet Hotbar already kinda does this, but I dislike using that, a lot...
I'd like to control my pets a bit more, but the current UI just makes for an annoying cluster of abilities... I dread to think what I'll do if Summoner ever gets Ramuh, Leviathan and Shiva-Egis and I feel the urge to set another 15 pet abilities down...
Gear Sets:
It would be nice if Gear Sets remembered things like the weapon/head gear toggle. Heck, it'd be nice, since we can now toggle the character display window, if that gets saved, too. I enjoyed playing around with that, then it didn't get saved.... Kinda sucked...
Repairs:
On the repair window, please add a Gear Sets page as well. Right now if I want to repair my Bards gear, I have to go through all the Armory pages looking for my Bards gear. It's annoying. Heck, it's annoying to have to switch to crafters to repair in the first place. If Gear Sets also showed up on this window though, at least all I'd have to do is switch to Weaver and repair all under my Bard Gear Set, then switch to Goldsmith and do the same, etc. etc.

You can keep another retainer, therefore more spaceMore inventory space. That's all I want.It could be more, but I think they have at least 5 pages of inventory space (lol sorry for uncertainty). Max you can have right now is two retainers. But that's plenty of space. There's also company chests that are handy but is meant to be shared with your FC.

<job> should show Job and item level, Warrior <50> item lv 75.
<exp> would be nice aswell, YYYYY/XXXXXX
Yes, please add this. It's especially annoying for ranged DPS. As an archer I tend to stay back behind any melee characters in the party, but this makes it hard to target any new adds that show up or sometimes even to see that there are more adds besides the mob I'm already fighting.
You mean the spiritbond, or reset the fact that the item is bound to you? If you mean you want to use an item as long as you're at the right level for it and then unbind it so you can sell it to another player who can then do the same, then absolutely not.
What would happen then is that the same few items would stay in circulation forever and there would be no reason for anyone to acquire more. Nobody would ever have any reason to craft an item if there are already more than are needed, and who in the world would run a dungeon a dozen times trying to get the fabulous drop of item X if item X can be picked up at the market board for 2 gil because more of them have dropped than there are characters currently wanting it? You've wiped out crafting (for anything other than consumables) and you've wiped out equipment as a viable loot drop.
In order for the game to be able to continue, there needs to be a continuous demand for new items to be created for every new character who needs them.
I can understand having only a certain number active at a time and letting us have some choice in which to activate, but it would be nice to get rid of that 24 hour timer. Have the FC leader or officer choose a perk to activate and then just leave it active until they decide to change it to something else, regardless of whether that's two hours later or two weeks later.
Oh yes, please. This would help a lot. When I want to craft I usually have several final items to make and each one has several intermediate ingredients, each of which I have to find the recipes for in order to figure out which basic materials I'm going to need. (And then I'll get part way through and realize I missed something, so have to head back to the summoning bell or a merchant to pick up some extra ingredients.) I'm in favor of anything that can make it easier to sort out what's needed.when crafting higher level items if the Recipe calls for another item that you have to craft and you do not have it ATM, then i should be able to click the item and be taken directly to the crafting page for said item. i don't really want to have to go looking through every level rang to find the one item i need.. ESPECIALLY as you get higher in crafting levels the number of items you can make can get rather long and some items can be easily missed.
That would help. Actually, this hassle of finding the items to repair is the main reason I rarely bother repairing my own equipment. Even if it costs a little extra, it's currently simpler to go to an NPC and have them repair everything in my current equipment. I'd like to be able to sort out what to repair easier. On the repair window, please add a Gear Sets page as well. Right now if I want to repair my Bards gear, I have to go through all the Armory pages looking for my Bards gear. It's annoying. Heck, it's annoying to have to switch to crafters to repair in the first place. If Gear Sets also showed up on this window though, at least all I'd have to do is switch to Weaver and repair all under my Bard Gear Set, then switch to Goldsmith and do the same, etc. etc.
I'd like it to let us select things like "show everything in gear set 1 that's repairable by a leatherworker" or "show me all items whose condition is below 20% and are repairable by a weaver". The armory chest categories are useful when equipping items, but not when repairing them.
