You don't have to be a hardcore player to get an insane amount of gil in this game. I play for maybe 2-3 hours every other day, maybe 6 on my day off, and have over 12 million gil to my name. Of course I started from release date though. Some people have well over 50 million gil though.
why not let them spend gil making other body parts bigger?Everyone says this game needs gil sinks, and all the hardcore players complain that there isn't enough content to divide them from the casual players. Well, I have come up with a simple solution. It is so simple it is ingenious really, and that solution comes in the form of hats.
Its truly brilliant, the hardcore players can spend money on a top hat and monocle, and the more money you invest, the bigger and fancier your hat becomes. Now all of you hardcore players can be satisfied and show off how great you are, and all the people complaining there is too much gil in circulation can be satisfied as well because all gil will be burnt by all players trying to have the biggest hat. The man with the biggest hat at the end of the day will be the best player, and linkshells that hate the fact there isnt enough content can use their linkshell bank to purchase a linkshell hat. The bigger the hat the better, and if your hat becomes big enough you can use it as a mog house. What does everyone think?O.o

But can you DO anything with your hats?
with the "hats" i mentioned you can for sure!

I hope my hat has some cannons built into it so I can shoot down other hats.
