Somersault & Axe Kick II - III, Passive Strength upgraded, Purify I. May change these in the future.

i55 PVP gear? I'm mostly i90 PVE gear still, and wreck i55 people. Have you defeated Sheng Long? That may be why you don't stand a chance yet. No offense. :/

Edit: Also add that positional attack requirements are terrible right now with ice-skating, jump abuse, etc.
Positional attacks aren't that big a deal, as long as the Dragon Kick debuff lands, I can manage. The only positional requirements I actively try to pull off is for Bootshine and True Strike.
I haven't really done any PVP lately since this jump abuse has gotten out of hand, but that's being fixed soon™.

Evil is Evil. Lesser, greater, middling… Makes no difference.

25-30% more damage from the positional bonus is definitely significant.

MNK is all about position my friend. This is why there are good and bad monks.

Things such as True Strike, Snap Punch, Bootshine, and Demolish, yes, I would agree. With heavy emphasis on Bootshine and True Strike. :P
I disagree with worrying about positioning for Dragon Kick and Twin Snakes.

Having 100% uptime on positional attacks is unrealistic in a PvP environment. It is preferable, of course, but not always practical.

Of course, I thought it was too obvious to be stated. But that's just part of being a mnk, so for me, to be a good monk is to land your skills on position as much as possible. Basic.

The way Monk's are is fine. I really hope no changes come to Monk. You just have to know how to play the class. The only class I have trouble with is SMN because of heavy and no ranged skills
