    It would be good if SE do something like in 1.0. Put some rare mats to the NM FATE rewards (5% chance to get it, but only if you get gold) and let the crafters craft vanity gears with the mats.

    I can't speak for the whole community but fates are a tedious task that not many enjoy, while I do agree those are some what could be consider Notorious Monsters they would not be consider that in the FFXI sense. I have played many MMO's but haven't really seen a system like that since, FFXI. Sometimes you need something that is so haunting and or unforgiving in a game that draws you back so you can complete that task.

    While it doesn't have to exceed nor match FFXI Notorious monsters system I would like a stand alone out side of fate type. some would require Fully party and or Alliances to beat. But the ones that require Alliances to beat it would drop 3 chest as they do in Crystal Towers. Give us more options/playstyle and you have a happier community.

    This. Absolutely. NMs already exist (some even have the same names as in FF11... Bubbly Bernie anyone?). And I would say Odin and Behemoth are most certainly NM's. But yeah, it's weird that other than a few minions in most cases, there aren't really any drops from them. I like the token system with Odin and Behemoth, but i definitely love your rare mats idea! I think that'd be a perfect addition to the game!

    The NMs in XIV are NMS in name only. They really are no different then any other fate except there is 1 mob instead of many.

    Odin and Behemoth are honestly no different then the chimera fate boss or bubbly burnie for the low level.

    They are high level FATE bosses and nothing else. People asking for NMs do not consider FATE bosses NMS even if the devs themselves call them that.

    NMs in XIV are the equivalent to Campaign Bosses in XI, which were free for alls back then as well which anyone could join.

    2 different style events. It does not matter what SE does with FATE unless they lock people out (cannot have a free for all) and add worthwhile drops it will not make those who want NMS happy.
