Thank you for your corrections regarding PVP gear, could you also answer a few questions I have about it. How do you get ilvl 90 PvP gear? Could you provide me with the stats on a piece as an example? How many materia slots do they have? How many people have ilvl 90 gear? Edit: how do you acquire resistance materia for PVP?

Besides that I think you underestimate how willing people are to go there extra mile for an edge in acompetition like PVP
