    New Crafter Recepies

Using the same type of screen as "Request Meld" a player could request a crafter adjust the stats on a piece of gear they have. Adjustments would require:
    Materia of matching type/grade (consumed)
Relevant materials (cloth, leather, metal, lumber) of relevant grade (consumed)
The Weapon/Armor to be altered (not consumed)
The crafter would then have a 2-star (or higher?) craft, no HQ possible to complete, materials would be forfeit in the case of failure.

Options would be along the lines of
    -1 Determination : +2 Accuracy (Grade 1)
    -4 Determination : +8 Accuracy (Grade 2)
    -8 Determination : +16 Accuracy (Grade 3)
    -17 Determination : +34 Accuracy (Grade 4)

Any piece of armor would be allowed to have 2 adjustments made to it basically making any il90 a BIS piece if you have the adjustments made (an expensive endeavor, and requiring crafters)

This might be good in a coming expansion. But at the moment we have other problems to solve.
We can't even craft you things, 'cause everything is dropped...

    I like Random-Number-Generator
'cause I'm able to accept that
a dice normally has six sides
    a pyramid has 5 sides
    a toast has 2 sides
AND I CAN'T PREDICT WHICH SIDES IT FALLS TO.

The idea being you still need the base armor (Mythology, Allagan etc.) so you STILL have to do the raid, but you can tailor the item to be BIS for YOU. Taking the assumption that every piece will have *main stat*, *vitality* you'll be able to tailor which secondary stats you want.
Determination, Accuracy, Crit, Skill/Spell Speed, Parry which can suit your armor to your build.

There would be SOOOOO many angry coil people! I think it is a neat idea, and on top of that I want to read the forums if something like that comes to exist. Anything that gives crafters more to do is A-okay in my book.

    Ditto.

There's almost no point on crafting atm aside from Cooking foods and potions for raids. Spiritbonding is still there, but you're most likely just to get break-even when you try sell those.

Hopefully crafting will get better when individual Housing is available since most players will buy furniture on market, or at least buy materials needed to make furniture. Until then food and maybe potions are the best bet. If SE decides to make i100 gear that has materia slots then people will buy armor just to spirit bond. Or they could always add more crafted items that compare better with the i80/i90. As a Weaver, goldsmith, and alchemist, I understand your pain.

We refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. So we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
