It's mainly so people know I am asking this to the devs. Like the link provided is not official and someone did post it and I do like the link, I would still like an official one. So no it is not like a normal Thread, a normal thread is a general discussion, this one is a general discussion with a statement or question towards the developers. Other general discussions could be just for the community. I didn't think I would need to explain but some people on these threads...
