But... Square Enix has been combating RMT... Their prices will only drive us to resort to RMT... What's the problem? Let's just assume this is a cash shop feature! Yeah!

Sure, SE claims they can't handle too many houses being bought, etc. Let's look at it this way. The current prices allows hardly anyone except RMT customers/Lv50 crafters from before December/HM Titan sellers to get a house, even a small one (without ending up broke). At half the price people would be able to buy a small (perhaps medium) ... But the wards won't be flooded. But what about that middle point? It could also be a group that sold a lot of Titan HM runs. Also, those who exploited the raw economy at the start of ARR. RMT aren't the only rich kids around.

The number of lots sold can not be used as a fact to confirm your statement either.

Your argument does not include players who can buy but are not interested in small/medium lots or are strategically waiting for prices to drop further.

If the initial price of land was easily within the means of wealthy players...

What cracks my up about his logic on this is that is exactly what he DID. He put housing ONLY within the grasp of the very wealthy leaving them STILL in a position to buy up all the land before the average Joe could afford anything. Where in the world would this logic work? We made all food rediculously expensive so that the poor can afford it as well as the rich. Who thinks of this stuff?

I don't mean to sound like an ungrateful whelp, but small FC houses are the size of Inn rooms. 50 people cannot fit into one of those comfortably.

Daily bump of justice. Lower ALL worlds prices SE. Such a huge cornerstone of this patch should not be locked away behind that much grind so that people can't access THIS patch's content by the time the next TWO patches comes out.
