Is there a good way to make the Sorcerer Tonban work? I've been in Coil for 3 months, and I still do not have the Allagan Breeches. I just want to have accuracy for T5.

Astral Ring got 9 Acc and you can add 3 more using mat. I'm in the same postion as you atm, no legs or belt for 4 months now. You can also farm Garuda Ex for Vortex ring as it is BiS and got some nice Acc on it.

Here is what I use for Coil T1-T5:

Allagan Head, Myth Chest, Myth Legs, Myth Belt, Allagan Hands, Allagan Boots, Myth Neck, Allagan earrings, Myth Bracelet, Allagan Ring, Astral Ring (or Vortex once it dropes) & HQ deviledeggs.

If you don't want to spend mythology on AF2 pants, you can get Crimson Breeches from Crystal Tower to tide you over since i80 was originally thought to be base gear needed for Coil.

That and Allagan everything looks awful.

Except Crimson Breeches don't have Accuracy, so it solves nothing. If you need more accuracy, get the Vortex Ring (it's BiS anyway) or Astral Ring and/or use the Hero's Belt. Allagan Scepter and Ancient Buckler also have plenty of accuracy if you have the Scepter. Also, Stuffed Cabbage is a good alternative for food if you're still really far behind on Accuracy. However, the hot fix reverted the Allagan boots back to their former glory, so you should get a bump in Accuracy from that as well.

That and Allagan everything looks awful.

And no, Allagan Casting gear looks awesome. Just need a better looking head piece. Sorcerer's head piece is too $%#*ing big, had to add a line in my macro to ensure I always hide my helm when switching to BLM because of it.

I absolutely *hate* everything on Allagan for BLM. You look like a merchant more than a Sorcerer.

If you never get the caster leg drop in coil and have acc troubles for t5-- go with vanya pants melded with acc.

Not a fan of that build at all.

I use: Myth head/chest/gloves/boots/neck/wrist.
Astral ring
Allagan Ring
Allagan Earring.
Allagan Legs
Allagan Belt <--missing.

With this set up, I got the highest amount of int/crit while keeping my spd relatively high.

Stats unbuffed and not in group.
Int - 486 (500 in grp)
Acc- 452
Crit - 483
Det - 250
Spd - 483

I cannot afford the accuracy hit by getting rid of Astral ring; however, if I get allagan main hand that comes with acc, I can use hero's ring instead. It's very easy. The crafted darksteel offhand with the new allagan mh will be one less int point, but i'll gain 4 by switching my rings. I believe this is the best set up. Best of luck.

My Build for T1-T5 is not optimal nor do I like it, it is what I'm forced to use until T4 decide to give me the legs + belt.

The optimal best build is listed in Puro document. You just have to pick between Crit or SS .

I finally got my Crimson Pants drop after 2 full day of grinding CT. I thought about buying the myth pants, but no matter how I see it, it's a waste of tomes. The Allagan Breeches is superior in every sense, even after you get Allagan Scepter + Ancient Shield.

See i'm the opposite. I love the DL and i love my Allagan. AF and Sorcerers body looks like i'm wrapped in vinyl or something.

I play nothing but BLM, so yeah starting this week myth cap, I no longer have anything to spend it on. I'm thinking of leveling up a SMN but meh...BLM 4life.
