That would defeat the entire point of the Roulette unfortunately. Especially for the lower level dungeons. You're getting that bonus BECAUSE you're being rolled into a group of randoms. If you were able to group they'd take away the bonus.

Seriously, this. You want to group with friends only? Fine, you don't get the bonus for joining with random people, which is the point of the duty finder. To get more people to help get groups faster. Your bonus for joining with friends is more predictable runs.

One thing i do wish, is if i could select multiple duty categories, like story and high, and just go to which pops first. I don't really get why you can select multiple dungeons, but with DF only one.

Try running AK with two bards. We couldn't even get passed the first boss.
I understand the low level dungeons and trials, I have no problem with those and helping new players.
I think the high level dungeon should be a bit more restrictive, group make up, and gear.

BTW, the two bards were in full Darklight and could not get it done on the first boss of AK. Could have been the tank too, but after a few wipes I had enough.

1 or more of those Bards must have been a bad then. Did you see 2 Venomous Bites and 2 Windbites up on the boss? Did they keep multiple buffs coming up onto themselves at several times during the fight? If the answer is no to either of those, then you know you have a bad Bard. We don't have many actual attacks to cycle through, so those DoTs need to be kept up at all times to keep DPS going, along with us reapplying our attack buffs whenever possible just so we can keep up the DPS on par with other classes (and even then we fall short).

I could see them allowing people to df roulette as pairs as the seems to be a common problem for some couples. Allowing people to df roulette as a whole group defeats the purpose of roulette.
