I have no problem admitting I am not good at pvp. Judging by what you have said, your tried it at some point in a MMO and it wasn't for you. As far as I can tell all teams are privy to these abilities, and have the freedom to form a team that's smarter, quicker and more talented at CC'ing and coordinating? Or do people just have a real hard time accepting that it takes a degree of cunning and cooperation to accomplish victory? 6 seconds, 30 seconds or a 5 min CC, doesn't matter If you know how to do it better. Capitalize on each others strengths and protect weaknesses.

No, MMO PVP is scoffed at by nearly progamers of every genre. It is generally regarded as the joke of the industry.I have no problem admitting I am not good at pvp. Actually, I PvP a lot across many different types. MMOs, MobA's, FPS's, etc. I enjoy PvP a lot. It's fun, it's dynamic, and it's a good way to see how well you can cut your teeth against other people.I have no problem admitting I am not good at pvp. But MMO PvP is almost always frustrating and poorly thought out because it's always designed as an after thought. Classes have heaps of abilities, dedicated healers are a frustrating wrench that can single-handedly dictate the entire style of a PvP system, and CC is generally overdone.
Sure, you can say that if all classes had a five minute CC, it'd be balanced, because it's whoever hits their button faster wins, but it's a horrible balance. Whoever hit the button first would win, no contest, on a five-minute CC. Sleep is far from the only problem in this game, though. Playing whack-a-mole with WAR-SCH-SMN-SMN is an excersize in futility that I've not seen matched in any other system to date.
I don't understand how people get to the end so quickly - or why they'd want to.
The pride at achieving everything must be tempered by the fact that you've played yourself out of the game.
Deepest respect to the OP, but go play something else until 2.2.
lolarena is a terrible MMO PvP format. I bet they thought they could get in on the e-sport business, but with 500k or fewer subs they'll never reach e-sport status in the first place.
You have prob just never played a mmorpg with decent pvp, but yea using ff xiv as an example, I could see why you hate it.
There is pvp focused mmorpgs you know, with good pvp in them.
But yes, as a pretty serious pvp player I cant take pvp in this game seriously, though I didnt buy this game for the pvp anyway - who would?
