Crystal Tower: Do we really have to wait 6 months just to enter the actual tower?

You message is completely incoherent.

What this boils down to is you do want more content but you want it without any regard to the creation process. The developers are creating content for people who enjoy various aspects of the game, which means no one aspect is going to be heavily focused on to the point it satiates everyone in that segment. Sure they could simply churn out a bunch of half-baked content that looks like crap, but then you will complain about quality.

Have some appreciation for the process and quit being petulant.

I mean not enough content in the overall update. So we are going to ignore the whole point of this thread which is waiting 6 months to enter the actual tower. I guess maybe you enjoy waiting half a year for a storyline to continue but that doesn't mean everyone does.

hasn't been the case for a few years. Heroic SoO took less than a month to be cleared.

Yeah the last thing that really sticks in my mind was Heroic Spine. It's good if they moved away from the whole Strength of Wrynn nonsense, but I doubt I'll be going back to that.

SE said that during release of 2.0 they had both the CT and Coil ready. However they felt they needed to test the CT more. So I assume, and I could be wrong, that the first floor (Ancient Maze) was already created and done by release of FFXIV 2.0. So from release to now, they didn't make a single floor in the CT? Do you expect me to believe that? What is wrong with releasing one floor in the CT along with the floors for Coil in 2.2 to make up for no floors inside the actual tower in 2.1?

Well presumably the story continues, as Biggs and Wedge ready the Siege weapons at the gates of Crystal Tower :P. I think I can better understand where you're coming from here, you're really chomping on the bit for more Crystal Tower, but I think generally people in MMOs are happy to have new content even if it's not a direct continuation of the content from the last patch. So yeah I think most people don't mind waiting 6 months.

Yes it continues but you still can not go inside the tower. Now I and everyone else have to wait a half of a year to enter the CT. But we are suppose to believe that 2.1 gave us CT.

You are right. You are assuming that everyone who plays is happy with the Crystal Tower content, yet you have not taken the time to ask everyone. I should have ignored you based off that.

Fact remains that the Crystal Tower comes 6 months from now. You are ok with that. I am not.

This thread is asking players what they think. No where did I say I believe most people think like me. I am asking in the OP for peoples opinion. All you did was voice your opinion and assumed it was what most people feel.

And it in no way indicates that everyone is pining for additional content right now. You are blowing through the content as soon as it is released. You are one of those people. You would never be satisfied unless new content is being released on a weekly basis. You, however, are not representative of the larger player base in any way, shape or form.

If you can not deal with the wait time, find something else in game to do or cancel your sub and play another game for a couple years and then come back to this one, because by then there should be enough content to hold you over for a month.

Beating a single raid once is blowing through content? A single raid?

For the entire school semester I didn't play the game and I kept my sub active. Only three days ago did I come back to the game, I didn't have my relic weapon, and I had not beat Titan until after I came back. That is 4 months after the release of this game. But because I want to actually enter the CT I am blowing though content. lol
