Stone Sour! Because all other music is worthless!

Copperbell Mines (Hard Mode): The music before you go into battle while you are wandering the dungeon.
I love how it seamlessly transitions into a battle medley and back to the wandering version. It's my favorite music by far!
Feels like 8-bit style music (even though it's clearly not) and progressing into a modern, fully orchestrated extravaganza.
Makes me nostalgic of my youth, while progressing into my current tastes. Lots of back and forth. Love it.

This is FFXIV for me. Nothing in ARR really makes me nostalgic for the game like this.

This one is a powerful close second. This was the region music for La Noscea.
I am in love with the Beastmen zone music "Pitfire" and "Quick as Silver, Hard as Stone" but cannot find good examples of them on Youtube. So I plan on uploading them tonight. ^-^
This was also done by Uematsu for 1.0 ♥Copperbell Mines (Hard Mode): The music before you go into battle while you are wandering the dungeon.

Those tracks are The Dark Embrace and The Dark Kiss respectfully. :>
Uematsu did all the great music of this game imo, I really miss his touch. It makes me sad this may be his Final, Final Fantasy... and they didn't even keep his work...

This. Also my favorite and I do love how it transitions into battle music. It FEELS like Final Fantasy VI Magitek. It was originally the theme for the Thousand Maws of Toto-Rak in 1.0.Copperbell Mines (Hard Mode): The music before you go into battle while you are wandering the dungeon.

FFXIV: ARR being a separate game still had some decent music. The best example I can find however is the F.A.T.E. "Mid" theme. Since there is no soundtrack, there is no titling for this song. It's the song that plays when fighting a large named boss in a Fate, but not a zone boss.
I'm sure with all the FATE farming however some of you are sick of this track. It's the first one I fell in love with in the Beta.
Titan is my fav:

There's also a dungeon battle instrumental music that I just can't find anywhere on youtube I think it's played on a xylophone or some other such instrument...
