Ready inner beast right before the huge Double AoE, also pop vengeance, if needed also Battle thrill and you shlould be completly safe from dieing. If vengeance isnt ready use Holmgang for it, but tell your whm so he can benediction you when you drop to 1 hp. its all a timing thing. I had issues at the beginning as well, now its just cup cake once i got used to the timing(sorry for bad english)

Double wicked wheel can hit like a truck. One of the first times I was doing Garuda X I got hit for a combined 6.7k damage, which was more health than I had in total as a ilvl 84 PLD. From then on I learned to pop sentinel (or rampart+forsight) every time wicked wheel could come (which, if your dps doesn't suck, is right after they port and drop feathers).

Speaking of wicked wheels, how do groups manage melee dps players during tornado phase after chirada is dead? The way I do it is have the MT (me) pick up garuda, suparna and spiny at the start while OT tanks chirada. Chirada goes down and OT vokes spiny off of me when I have 2 stacks, and I keep tanking suparna and garuda till suparna dies and garuda ports. At first I would have melee dps cross over to help dps down suparna, but after realizing they will probably either (a) derp and get hit by tornado as they cross and die, or (b) get hit by 1 or 2 wicked wheels and die, I started telling them to stay with the offtank, and we would have only the ranged dps killing suparna. Then I wisened up and stopped bringing melee dps altogether, now it's all ranged dps loving. I realize I could do it differently by having OT pick up chirada and spiny at the start, and me have only suparna and garuda, and have us switch spiny and suparna with voke, but I found my first method inherently safer and giving better results as there's a chance I can get slipstreamed by either suparna or garuda while trying to voke spiny. Plus the tunnel vision I get while tanking both garuda+suparna doesn't help with timings.

Im just gonna say tanks should always have considerably more i level than the bare minimum to que in. DPS and healers with skill shouldn't have a problem with that i level but a tank should be close to 80+ if they want to main tank this fight. Off tank could probably get away with less easily tho.

I normally grab the green add (Chirada). Chi + Garuda do less damage than Garuda + Suppana. anyway the main trick is to watching out for Fiction, every they cast fiction, it will shortly follow by Dbl. wicked wheel that will do aobut 5-7K damage. make sure you pop ur CD for that.

You know there's a whole way to run this fight that doesn't ever have a tank w/ 2 on him/her at once ...
DDs grab one add, take to one side
OT grab one add, take to opposite side
    MT hold Garuda due north

When "X" storms are up you just shift a little clockwise
    Wheel does less damage
They have far less damage resist
On the whole the adds are just easier

An i65 tank can take a hit from an 1 of them at a time as well, so the ilvl set by SE is very doable.
Moral of the story: Just because it is a way that has worked for others does not make it the only way to win. If something simply isn't working, find a way to change.

So long as your DDs know to stack and share damage from down burst or w/e and avoid Wheel to some degree. W/O the buff stacks they get it doesn't hurt nearly as bad, but it can still potentially one shot lesser geared DDs.

Double Wicked Wheel can be predicted. It occurs a few seconds after the little teleport they do shortly after the Slipstreams, and immediately after Suparna's Friction.

-Get Eye for an Eye from a healer.
-Once you have established aggro on Suparna and have them in position, try to tag one or more of them with Storm's Path. Do it after the Slipstreams.
-Pop Vengeance after they come back from the teleport. Double Wicked Wheel will happen within 15 seconds.
-Suparna always casts Friction before the Double Wicked Wheel. Watch Suparna and respond with Inner Beast when Suparna casts Friction.
-The DR from Eye for an Eye, Storm's Path, Vengeance and Innner Beast is a lot. Double Wicked Wheels will go from "omfg it one-shotted me" to "tee hee that tickles!"
-If your DPS is too low low, there might be a second Double Wicked Wheel. You can either have the OT Voke Suparna off of you (Chirada should be dead) or prepare for it with Thrill of Battle + Inner Beast.

Are your DPS focussing on Suprana or Chirada first?

Because we had our DPS burn Suprana ASAP then move onto Chirada to avoid getting cleaved to hell! Worked every time.
