    Doesn't matter which settings you use, youtube will always decrease the bitrate by a huge amount.

    The (sad) solution i found while trying to improve the quality on youtube videos:

    - bitrate at 15Mbits~
    - upscale to 2048x1152

    Youtube will downscale the video, again, but the results are much better than uploading a 1080p video.

    I tried Premiere Elements 11 with h.264, VirtualDubx264 and Handbrake

    All give about the same quality - and since i can upscale in Elements 11 without having a huge videofile i prefer to use that one.
