Tomes make it worth it for me you get 50 myth for finishing it doesn't take that long to finish thats one less dungeon you have to run to cap.

Def more exciting than the WP n AK runs!! Something fresh for the boring Tome grind!

Oh I don't know...not being a Jerk...that would be a reason.
After all, 23 other people helped you get what YOU want...is it so hard to stay so they also have a chance at some loot. Once the instance is over, feel free to not re-enter for a week.

....That doesn't sound very 'MURICA!' of you....
Get all the tomes and at least it is interesting
I have fun!
I don't need any items from CT but I enjoy it - and yes, even frustation can be part of it.
I have countless facepalm-moments: see other healer dying in aoe which can be so easyliy avoided, see DDs scared faces when adds are running away from them so first reaction "pew pew pew" - doesn't matter that the add died to close to the boss or others adds - it's dead, hurray! And I know I had my part of fun when I - as a healer - am the only surviver! And tanks - sometimes I think they are the "hardmode"-factor in CT. They fighting each other for aggro, don't trying to get adds and - my favorite - running in the first trash mobs alone, adding all and dying instantly.
So yeah, CT can be very entertaining
PS: No irony or sarcasm intended.

I think you get 150 phil and 50 myth. I feel that that is worth it.
tomes are very worth it, you can even run it to break monotony of other runs, about an hour with a good group and a lot of philosophy.
I hated it when I heard the system, but the way you can rerun it (try get your item) and the amount of tomes you get...I actually find CT a lot of fun. Of course the ONLY reason I feel the loot lockout works is that it is a fast run that is repeatable, but...it does seem to be working.
fun and excitement
