An Open Letter to Yoshida-san: Please Slice One Zero Off the Housing Prices

The forums are not an entirely valid statistical pool. To go along with what the common trend that 'the non-vocals are also quitting', I have 5 RL friends, and none of them post on the forums. I'm willing to bet half of them don't even know the forums exist. To put it simply:

No player here, nor outside, probably know who the majority and who the minority are. But I know of a certain company who probably does....

How about this then:


If people saw nothing wrong with the housing prices, then more would be sold. You don't need 'people complaining on forums...or stats' People vote with their time and gil. If the gil isn't being spent on this content...then there must be a reason why.
And the only plausible reasons are:
1. People aren't interested in FC housing, and SE wasted time developing it
2. People think the prices are too high for what you get and are:
-Waiting for them to come down a bit and then bite
-Purposefully NOT buying them until SE fairly prices them (basically what's happening on Legacy Servers)
3. People really don't have enough money to buy a house/their desired house on their server.

So, you don't need forum complainers and neither does SE. SE can see that 1 week after this content has launched, on one of the Largest NA servers, only one Medium House has been sold...and THAT one only sold so they could be 'world first'. And that the same thing is happening across ALL legacy servers 0-3 houses bought across the whole entire world...

But yeah you're right. The majority of the players see nothing wrong with the pricing and are willing to lay down 10-20 Million for a house that wouldn't even fit my Wolf Pup...that's why so many houses are being built. Oh wait...
