    There is a way so that melees don't have to deal with Wicked Wheel at all.
    Just let the tank handle Garuda and Suparna, while the offtank grabs Chirada.
    Kill Chirada and attack Suparna after Garuda did her wicked wheel, Suparna won't do another wicket wheel after Chirada died. (I cannot confirm that she doesn't do it at all but so far I haven't seen her use it after Chirada died. Garuda will still do it until both are death.)
    In the next add phase our offtank grabs Chirada and the feather and pulls her to the usual position. After we finished Chirada we wait for the Wicked Wheel from Garuda and Charge/jump to the other side to Suparna while the offtank taunts Garuda and the maintank taunts the feather. Of course you can also have the offtank taunt Suparna instead of Garuda but that would be a DPS loss since melees would have to wait for her to be in position.

    Another alternative is to use defensive cooldowns and just survive through wicked wheel. DRG has access to Keen Flurry (80% Parry Rate) and can cross-class either Foresight (Defense +20%), Feather Foot (Evasion +15%), or both. Personally, Foresight imo is the best because it doesn't rely on RNG. Monk has access to these as well but there Feather Foot is 25%, there Keen Flurry only 40%, and again, Foresight for Defense +20%.

    I have no problem with playing a melee for Garuda X, but it annoys me that once again, ranged jobs have an easier time. They can just sit in their safe pocket of air firing off DPS at both sisters (moving once in a while for a red circle friction) while melees are pre-empting wicked wheels and crossing the middle dead zone in between tornado pulses. Rather than make life for melees easier, I was under the impression that SE intended for mechanics to become more difficult for ranged jobs, but I guess apparently not.

    DRG here. Wicked Wheel comes ~10-12 seconds after Suparna / Chirada use Friction. Simply do not be near Garuda during this time and you will not be hit.

    P.S. Thanks for the good laugh with a thread complaining about mechanics being difficult in an "Extreme" mode primal fight.

    Ummmm duh? Thats how it is for melee in almost every-single-game. If you don't like having to deal with mechanics, then go play Hearthstone.

    I think you meant, "go play WoW". Blizzard has the common sense of having melee-only mechanics, and ranged-only mechanics, class stacking being a hinderance in a smart way (need melee do deal with x mechanic, need ranged to deal with y mechanic, need everyone for buffs).

    Here, you bring melee for... Final Heaven. And that's it.

    Thats pretty much it... Best part of it is that people haven't figured out that melee LB really isn't that good.

    Have your tanks position the Garuda/Adds between the wall and one of the tornadoes in a nook. The DPS can then dodge the wheel altogether by running to the area where the three tornadoes meet. Healers can also toss DD a stoneskin for safe measure but if the tanks and dps do their jobs properly it isn't required.
