Actually if you look over the way Hvinire responds to the quoted segments that is a response to the quote above the one about freckles. Is this a troll post? You had to have read the post, hell you linked it!
I mean, he says right there... maybe, but definitely NOT for 2.1... That's pretty clear for a company that's been super vague about everything from housing to how their dataservers operate globally. You can't get more concrete than this. What more research could you possibly need? XD
I was very disappointed when I didn't see a Freckles option come 2.1. I've been wanting them forever! I didn't want the Aethestitician for anything aside from that, haha.
I was extremely disappointed at the lack of promised freckles!
I could have sworn I saw freckles while changing my character. Are you guys sure you scrolled down the list to the bottom?
No freckles, yet we get a weird skin rash looking option added >_> (or at least female Mi'qotes do). I'd post a screenshot, but I'm not spending 2000 gil to fugly up my character for the shot.
Get your priorities right Square. At what point did some one think "You know what's a vital launch option for the Aethestitician? The 'I have a serious skin condition' look!" Literally any other idea the devs ran by the public would have been a better use of their time for a priority Aethestitician release.

I noticed this too, at first I thought "Who would willingly give their character rosacea?" But then I realized that that was mostly because the default color for face paint is orange... I believe that it is actually supposed to represent just having a dirty face, as if you'd been in combat.
Well still, why would they spend their resources releasing the dirty face/skin condition option as one of the first additions? Much less giving it priority over something as highly demanded as freckles? Some very strange judgement calls on Square's part with the 2.1 release.I noticed this too, at first I thought "Who would willingly give their character rosacea?" Ah that's probably what I saw and thought it was freckles. It just looked like dots on the face. I'll have to go back and check it out now.
my character has freckles, you jelly?![]()
Here's the bruise/skin rash look for you! (i did NOT keep this, was just checking out the new options)No freckles, yet we get a weird skin rash looking option added >_> (or at least female Mi'qotes do). I'd post a screenshot, but I'm not spending 2000 gil to fugly up my character for the shot.
