Forcing Crystal Tower to use 2 unknown alliances brings nothing but trouble

It's not so much that people don't want to work together. I don't see anyone in the thread asking to solo the place. But sometimes you get people or groups who either won't or can't do what's expected of them. Bringing your own full group of 24 minimizes this risk.

Well now there's one (for now) that doesn't let you do it.

You have to rely on fellow adventurers been good enough to get through.

And you can do the raid with a few people been KO'ed so its not even that big of a deal if one or two useless peops get in.

One or two, sure, but it's more reasonable to expect one or two per group. My first time through we had two bad tanks who managed to mostly distract us from the fact that there were also some really bad DDs around, and I have no idea what the quality of the healing was. . .

It probably won't stop you from completing the dungeon, no; there are too many ways for the competent to carry the incompetent here. That doesn't make it particularly fun, though.

I do agree that there's a lot of carrying going on and that's not a good thing. But I don't think its an awful thing that one raid (which a lot of people are saying doesn't matter because it gives out gear that's below their current gear levels) makes you team up with unknowns. Every other dungeon and (the other) raid lets you go in with a full party so there's none of the uncertainty that comes with the Duty Finder. This is the only one, and for that, I don't see it as a big deal.

Eh. . .I've actually enjoyed my two times through CT. But, I fully realize that I've enjoyed them in spite of some of the rest of the group, so I understand why some would want to queue a full 24.

Well I'm in the same boat, my FC never has 24 people on at the same time so I won't have this problem, and maybe thats where my lack of sympathy kicks in.

even worst if we are speaking different langauge at all

Anyway, my 1st time clear carried by a JP group, luckily someone there can speak english.
