No Freckles in 2.1?

Just to give you guys a good idea of what you can expect going into 2.1, we've spoken with the lead developer on the salon feature who looked into a few of your requests in this thread and commented below:

We're implementing this in 2.1 for all races!

I have been trying to research this since the patch was released. I know a few have been excited about the option to add freckles to their characters. Sadly when I went to the Aesthetician to find them they werent there! Are they only allowed with certain races? Or will be released later? I'm at the point to where I was going to submit a support ticket to get an answer but figured I'd see what the community says!

The aesthetician in 2.1 is incredibly underwhelming. I was expecting a bit more than 2 new haircuts that are only available for roegadyn characters at this point.

I don't think SE did a very good job of explaining that the aesthetician wouldn't be bringing new choices for everyone right away. Nor do I feel that the choice to have such limited options for this feature was well planned.

But hey, more options? Please look forward to it.

I mean, he says right there... maybe, but definitely NOT for 2.1... That's pretty clear for a company that's been super vague about everything from housing to how their dataservers operate globally. You can't get more concrete than this. What more research could you possibly need? XD

I would've expected the aesthtician to have his own cosmetic studio in the 3 cities or something like that.

If you go back to the post, you'll see that the dev answer is underneath the question. So the answer shown above, was for the question - "earned" style options integrated as rewards in dungeons, or new quests/FATEs

Yeah, I had to double check as I read that post to make sure I was looking at the right answer.

Yeah! I double checked to make sure I wasent misreading the post that was given, and even watched the video where they were discussing it. Unless there was a HUGE miss-communication on their part on what they were trying to disclose to us or I give up on trying to get excited about what the devs are tell us in upcoming content lol.

That's actually probably a great idea, and sorry if I came off as rude, I was just kind of confused when I saw that then saw the earnest tone in your post. I wasn't sure how to take it. :3

I'd really like it if bushy eyebrows and freckles were made available for all Lalafell faces (ideally with either various options or a pronounced eyebrow angle slider).

I ended up having to go sans freckles and with only the second-fullest eyebrows. :-(
