Summoner: Misty veil?

Anyone think this action is worth getting at all?

If I skip the mana restore skill (don't really need that), that means I have 15/30 AP spoken for, which leaves 5 slots for upgrades or traits (The traits hardly seem worth it because the ugprades cost more than the others).

The issue I have is that Misty Veil seems nice in theory, but unlike some of the other skills, is only worth a damn if it's been fully upgraded (10% range reduction is not enough to impact anything). I wish you didn't have to do the upgrades in order, b/c the recast reduction isn't enough to allow more than one cast except in a really long fight.

Has anyone here gotten this skill? Do you find that it helps you at all? I figure casting it on the healer might be effective since it will be harder for them to cure people who are running around. I feel like you either need to max this skill out or not get it at all, but maxing it out means I wouldn't be able to upgrade another skill that might benefit from the upgrades.

yeah i thought about getting misty veil too. I would imagine that it would cripple the healer a bit. but since skill reset is soooo expensive right now, i don't know if i want to waste AP testing it out XD

yeah, for now I think I'm going to max out either aetheric burst and either equanmity, or get vit trait and max wither (so it can be used more than once a fight... its a good skill)

Misty veil seems nice but it won't be useful until the third upgrade where the range reduction increases to 30%.

You don't have to buy them in order. When you purchase an upgrade after buying the initial skill, you get a pop-up asking which level you'd like to buy. I bought the 20s extension on the no-interrupt skill without buying the CD reduction.
