Just to clarify, in order to unlock and enter Stone Vigil you have to progress on main scenario quests and accept In Pursuit of the Past quest from Alphinaud.

I'm was really looking forward to doing these quests, but I'm disappointed that I'll have to complete the Stone Vigil dungeon first. Had a look at the run through notes and I'm pretty sure I'm not skilled enough to complete it, so I'll have to give the beastmen quests a miss.

Stone Vigil is required to complete the main story, so it's probably something you'd want to eventually do if you want to be able to experience most of the game. It's really not that bad of a dungeon.

Guess I've just been lucky. I haven't gotten a FATE as a daily quest yet.

Castle Zvahl oops I mean Stone Vigil is one of the harder instances while growing up. I'd say it ranks second beneath the temple of quarn. But practice makes perfect.

So even if you do fail on it at first, I'm sure if you keep at it eventually you will master it.

Considering they nerfed Quarn, it's not all that hard. I think you should do it until you clear it. You will always fail if you never try at all, Marito. Make some friends, ask a guild member or on a LS. Honestly, the over abundant trash mobs in SV are more annoying than the bosses.

Really? Did Quarn yesterday and other then the one boss that wiped us all it was fairly easy.
Also not sure why people have had issues with final sting, we killed them in time
I have Stone Vigil unlocked and just waiting on a FC member to unlock it so they can tank
Funny thing is my other char i also left off when i had sv unlocked

I think they nerfed it. It used to be one of the harder lower-level instances. It may be a lot easier now, I dunno. I haven't done it since the nerfs.

I was a little disappointed to learn that, yes, while you can take 6 quests for one tribe only 3 of those will be at an increased reward level of 7 reputation points while the remaining ones will be at the old level of 5 points.

Each quest giver is restricted to 3 quests regardless of how many you can do for that tribe each day.

It's really all dependent on what kind of party and players that you have.

I had some tough times in Qarn, before I cleared it roughly two months ago. Aside from learning the boss mechanics and overall layout of the dungeon, there were times where the parties that I joined with on DF just didn't mesh together as well. I also had parties where we smashed through bosses and trash mobs, alike. Thankfully everyone I met in those instances had great attitudes, even when we couldn't clear the Tetrasaur (sp) and had to bow out of the dungeon after over an hour.
