New armors from 2.1?

The main reason I quit the game was due to the lack of armor selection. Most of them were laughable, and looked like SLIGHTLY modified low level armors. Especially that one armor (which I dont remember the name of) has the boots and leggings connected, as well as chest and helm.. Really hated that one. Especially since its END GAME armor.

So yeah, I was mainly looking forward to 2.1, so maybe there would be more to choose from, and more creative armors. So has there been released new armors? If so, do they take decades to achieve, or are they realisticly available for casual players as well?

Relax, rewards come to the patient. 2.2 will have vanity (rumored or confirmed?) and that will solve your armor woes.

On topic.. If they won't make decent armor avaialable to everyone before 2.2 (and God knows when that will be released), I think Ill wait to play the game til then.

There is "decent armor available to everyone."

The Darklight Armor that you're complaining about isn't necessary at all, since you can skip it entirely and start putting together a mixture of Mythology and Crystal Tower gear almost immediately after hitting L50. With a few pieces of i55/i60 gear thrown into the mix, your required ilvl will be high enough to do any of the content currently available within roughly one week. And that's without ever touching the trashcan armor.

As to 2.2, it should be out around February or March.

The Darklight Armor that you're complaining about isn't necessary at all, since you can skip it entirely and start putting together a mixture of Mythology and Crystal Tower gear almost immediately after hitting L50. With a few pieces of i55/i60 gear thrown into the mix, your required ilvl will be high enough to do any of the content currently available within roughly one week. And that's without ever touching the trashcan armor.

You need DL and such for Coil so you don't miss. CT is more lenient in that you can be carried easier. Also Philos are extremely easy to get now. Even if you only do the roulettes and log out you'd end up with 500 philos a day

Sounds to me like this game might not be for you.. I don't think MMO genre is for you at all. This game is the most casual MMO there is and if this is not casual enough for you, nothing is. Might be better if you chose single player games instead. Dragon age is supposed to be good. I have not tried it but I will after I have achieved enough in 2.1.

Not at all. It used to be hard, but honestly, you could rack up about 100 Mythology Tomestones a day for roughly two hours' work. This is JUST taking into consideration the Duty Roulette, which matches you with a random party for low and high level dungeons. You could actually get more by using the Duty Roulette on high level dungeons, then running them again on your own, but, eh.

Either way, if you just run ONE Duty Roulette a day, you'll be earning a minimum of 70 Tomestones of Mythology a day, with a cap of 450. Crystal Tower is actually INTENDED to be run by casual players such as yourself, and doesn't offer more than one piece of armor a week.
