Fishing Timeworn Peisteskin Map

Sorry to take over the thread, but I plan on leveling fishing soon and was wondering which location you guys are talking about? Thanks!

Obviously there was some confusion, as neither of us knows where "North shards" is. I figured it was an innocent and easily answered question

Remember that there is an 18 hour cooldown on finding treasure maps. So if you've found any of the lesser maps you're not going to get a Peisteskin Map for at least 18 hours after than no matter what you do.

*Note: I'm not saying that is what happened, I'm just raising the point.

Is there a limited number you can catch in a day or in a predefined timeframe? Got 1/8 with caddyfish larva, 0/50 on the second catch attempt.

I tried Parata's Place yesterday for like 30 minutes and didn't have any luck. No maps at all. Eventually I just swapped to Botanist and went and got one that way.
