Mh what about a minigame for whm.

Any cast done by a whm will pop an arrow at a random spot on the Screen, facing a random direction, at 90% of the cast. If the whm moves that direction it wont abort the spell but finish it immediatly. Every 100 Points in spellspeed will make the arrow apear 3% earlier.

Why are you Schs so against making the secondary stat on gear "fun" for whm?

Now that most whm are in full ilvl90 and some like me have allagan weapon. We have nothing to look to forward to gear wise.
There is No carrot on the stick anymore gear wise. Gear can be so fun for a healer if designed well.
Whereas the scholars i know are striving for more critical hit and get happy receiving a piece with critical rating.

Scholar was designed well. White mage was not.

On a more serious note maybe I understand this wrong or whatever. But you basically say in your last post that you got your best in slot whm gear and now don't have anything to look forward to. But where would the difference be if you were sch with maxed out equipment?

1. Gear is not exciting for whm. Due to secondary stats doing so little for whm

2. Whm dont synergize well with any secondary stat so any ilvl90 will do.

Difference is that it feels like more of a journey and improvement as a sch. They dont just settle after getting any ilvl90 they can still improve their character.

Stats in general are underwhelming for healers. Scholar too, since crit so fun and useful it out shadows det and speed.
In other mmos such as wow , patches change the effect of secondary to make them more appealing for healers. Such as changing abilties to synergize with a stat . Making regen/dots be affected by haste.

Or we could summarize it this way:

WHM trait design relies solely on RNG and flat % numbers while SCH trait and spell design enables a way to actively influence proc and skill synergy

Its nowhere near the level of synergy sch has with crit, but i like my det/crit build on my whm, although det could stand to be a little stronger. The less i need to rely on cure 2 the more efficient i am.

That being said, a crit build on a sch is just... so much better.

The critical strike is fun because it makes big numbers XD especially in comparison to unwhelming speed and det. There are ways to make spell speed more interesting too.

I swear it's as if no scholar wants us to be fixed. At this point I would rather them just take all of our AOE heals, put them on SCH and in the meantime take out WHM and redesign it

Well, i want WHM to be on equal terms with SCH (or vice versa - depending on your PoV).

I'm on the same page. I want them both to be equal in usefulness but still excel in their respective fields.
