Fortunately, as a caster, you can now access blizzard2 at THM12. since you'll want to level THM for swiftcast anyway.

yeah they replace a extremely useful DoT attack, with a almost useless group AoE attack(that was heavily nerfed). But on the casting class there are few skills worth really cross-classing. Definitely want swiftcast.

Useless? I wish I had Blizzard 2 when doing the fates for my WHM. I couldn't even hit one mob in some packed ones.

Why? The casting time is too long to get the initial tag on mobs, if their are lots of other people doing it(plus the damage is to low to help you get the assist kill credit)and the possibility of gaining to much Hate and dieing is high.
