the whole point of duty roulette is to give incentive to players to help out those that need or want dungeon runs. If you could just do it with your group it would defeat the purpose of it

I do understand where you're coming from wanting to utilize the commendations and getting the nice bonuses while grouped up before hand, but if you want the bonuses, just do one roulette per day in each category, or a category of your choice then go about your day doing what you want with the DF or PF.

Because going with 3 buddies and having them give you their commendations would be too easy to farm, use the solo roulette, be nice and helpful.

They will likely handle it the way they do on PVP. If you are pregrouped in PVP 2 or more slots, then you can receive commendations from a player who solo-queued, but you cannot give them. Fine by me!

That sounds fair. Any more than 2 people queuing up in a group for the roulettes seems kinda detrimental to the idea of increasing community interaction, I do think the system should push a bit more for grouping people from the same server together for the sense of making friends you'll be able to see on a regular basis, not a huge deal either way if it doesn't happen, but it could potentially lead to stronger servers over all.

I'm guessing they want to promote helping solo players who might be stuck on duties from lack of people doing them. Though I agree, I really don't want to do a lot of these dungeons with people I don't know ... especially when some of them are ragers.

Maybe It's just my luck, but people I meet in DR was very nice.

Yeah, same. My fiance and I pretty much do everything together in the game - on our mains, at least. It's rather sad that we can't even participate in handing out commendations because of this.

I know what you mean... but still 2 people with almost 80 lvl gear in some low level dungeon is quite too much for some low lvl dungeons. So I think it is to avoid 4 90s geared people speedrun most low level dungeons.... I mean it was meant to help out new players who are not in FC not to earn tomes faster
But it is sad that you cannot give commendations to people who you got together in random terms - sometimes they are good but you cannot upvote them just because you queued up with someone from you FC...

I think the roulette is a way to cut down on the waiting times for low level dungeons, most of the bonuses I have seen have been for healers or tanks. Good way to get a lot of exp if your not 50 yet and less stressful way to pick up tomes after 50.
