Anyone notice that the dots are not only more effective over time, but they also look way cooler than most Tier II nukes?
Water II- a big splash of water.
Drown II- a big dome of water surrounding the mob.

I was having trouble getting my Tier-I elemental dots to stick on NM and on mobs several ranks above me. I'm rank 25 and my PIE & INT are both 80. Do I just need to level up a bit before I see better performance?
I do too. This jade crook+3 was the biggest waste of gil (if gil even has worth I guess).

Jade Crook +3 doesn't do **** on any enemy that performance would matter on. Statistically proven to have no effect on acc%, max damage, average damage, dart or nuke compared to jade crook NQ, with or without stats aligned to nuking or not.
Run a parse on a JC+3 con with seer's cowl, electrum choker, black pearl rings, and 135 INT and PIE against a JC con with harley suit on, MND rings, and 60 INT and PIE on any notorious monster, R50 or R35 series.
Game makes no distinction between the two. Accuracy and potency cap, most likely bound to dLVL yet again.
