If a player ignore all the gear rewards and only take the coins rewards and do more dungeons than FATEs (gil reward in FATEs sucks), he should have around 1m gil at level 50.While that is cheap compared to other servers, I still think it's too expensive for bare minimum entry level plot of land which is completely lost upon upgrading. Especially considering 4mil is still at least 1.4mil over the price Yoshi estimated (and that's assuming 5 players got 500k on their way from 1-50). Either way, it bites.
With 5 people that would be 5m gil

The highest I have every heard of is about 500k (should note that this was only one person). Most people get around 150-200k.
Did they ignored every gear in the quests?
I know that i started ARR with 2m. And the moment I hit 50 with ACN I had 3m.
The prices are now only for FC housing. Yoshida wrote yesterday that personal housing would be much cheaper.

He also originally said that FC housing would be much cheaper than it is, so forgive me if I don't believe him.
Did you sell things on the AH as you were leveling, craft anything and do levequests? Did you use teleports? I ended up with 160k, not buying anything off the AH, doing every dungeon (I got instant queues as a tank), doing all the guildhests until the level 45 ones, and sometimes taking the pieces instead of quest rewards.
