Dear Yoshi - Where the hell is the accuracy for tanks?!

So... As I have progressed through gear, I am finding accuracy becoming more and more important as you progress through Coil. And almost no gear has accuracy on it outside of Darklight! The new level 80 stuff you are adding is basically useless because only one tank piece even has accuracy on it. I am 2 pieces from being full iLVL 90 and I am still only at 466 accuracy.

When I first started Coil in full DL, I had something like 510 accuracy. I would think getting better gear should make this number easier to obtain rather than harder... I am beginning to think that you HAVE to have the Coil Turn 1 body piece for the extra 34 accuracy it gives. It's a shame I have to use it over my PLD AF+1...

Start with melded DPS accessories which offer +12 accuracy per (or +9 on neck if you don't add more). That alone gives you quite a head start. After that, many ilvl90 pieces have unique accuracy on them -- use your Valor Cuisses (legs) for +acc that WAR and Allagan legs don't, plus Valor Sollerets for the highest +Acc in that slot (same as Warrior's Jackboots). Save the the Valor Surcoat purchase for later.

Uh... eat some ACC food and call it a day? 466 is an excellent number. Why on earth would you want to have 510 Acc again?

Again, I know math is hard, but the accuracy cap for turn 5 is 483. If I get 10 from a HQ food, that gives me 476 which is still below the cap with only 2 non iLVL90 pieces. Also, don't say "that is enough" because I notice the misses far too often when it's even a couple below cap. It shouldn't be like that...

    Accuracy is everywhere.

All of the allagan acessories except ring, allagan body and hands, valor legs and boots, curtana, allagan shield. Valor crown. Melded gryphonskin.

    Its everywhere.

Allagan Earring, Allagan Wrists, Allagan Neck, Allagan Body, Allagan Gloves, Allagan Helm, Allagan Shield.

I think you are looking in the wrong areas..

    Or myth?

Valor Helm, Valor Legs, Valor Feet, Curtana Zenith, Myth Ring.

I'm guessing you meant for PLD, otherwise:
Warrior Gloves, Warrior Body, Warrior Feet.

I'll say there is a little bit of a juggle when it comes to keeping enough acc for coil, but it is certainly doable if you plan out your drops/myth spending. The gear is there, it just needs to plop in your inventory. They added a good chunck of acc on CT gear as well (especially accessories I think?) but I'm too lazy to look all that up for the sake of this post.

*Edit* err PiedPiper beat me to it.

Yeah, isn't it actually 480? I have never missed at 481.

Math is obviously matched it its difficuly by reading comprehension. As a warrior I normally assume I'm the axe wielding brute who can't read. Thanks for proving me wrong!

You may notice that I said, "eat some ACC food"...

Need more accuracy? Eat food with MORE accuracy. You're obviously someone who wants to be at the ACC cap, so decide which is better for you: HQ toast that won't cap you, HQ cabbage that will, or maybe itemize differently.

My 2gil advise? Eat the toast and deal with it.
