Haukke Manor Tank BASIC Overview SPOILERS

This is to give you an idea of what to expect, describing some of the mechanics and giving a few tips - I hope I don't give too much away, as there are fun things to learn, but I wanted to provide some basics and tips for those who want to know some information. I might post a full guide later on after everyone has gotten a chance to run it with the thrill of the unknown. Please please correct me or add your own thoughts or strategies below.

    Boss1 - Manor _______ (Servant? Jester? idrc)

Basic Mechanics - Single boss with many adds spawning throughout, increasing in strength and number until the boss is dead.

Basic Strategy - Tank needs to get the attention of everything, DPS needs to kill the adds, healer needs to heal everyone (pretty basic!!)

Tip: There will be AE circles that stick on the ground throughout the fight which the party needs to avoid. I would recommend that you stick very close to the healer, and Flash/Overpower the adds as they come to attack the healer instead of chasing them around.

    Boss2 - Ash

Basic Mechanics - Ash hits fairly hard, looks awesome, and has some pretty cool magical/telepathic powers with his glowing axes and swords. The biggest part of this fight is his floor AEs, he will throw down a multitude of different damage dealing floor AEs that should be avoided.

Basic Strategy - Dodge dodge dodge. Stay light on your feet, try not to move the boss a TON, as it will piss off your dps, and be cognizant of where your healer is relative to you.

Tips: Always be moving a little bit, its so easy to react and move if you are pacing or walking the boss as opposed to being flat footed (just mentally, not any game mechanic that I know of, besides acceleration to full speed). I THINK there are some ground AEs.

Boss3 - Crazy Succubus Lady (Halleklsgfefdfjlk)

Basic Mechanics - This lady does some strong magic attacks (Void Thunder/Fire IV) Void Fire IV will target a random party member and its a wide AE. She can be stunned/silence, but does gain resistance, I would save those for her brutal Dark Mists which have a large range and a relatively short cast time. It seems that YOU CANNOT run behind her to avoid spell damage! DOH! They caught on!

Anyways, the main crux of this fight is the adds. Add 1 is a Manor Servant (eyeball), Add set 2 is two Maidservants (succubi), and add 3 is...I dunno a gargoyle? I don't remember. If your group does not dps them down to 0 or very little hp by the time she chooses to sacrifice them (not very long) she does a very powerful Blood Rain (or something) AE on the party. It wiped my group one time. She does not seem to absorb on proximity, but I tried to keep my body between her and the adds, as it seemed she absorbed the last add VERY fast. This is entirely a DPS check fight. Other than killing the mobs fast, its not difficult.

Well - that's all the boss fights in Haukke - it was a super fun dungeon for me. It drops i60 armor, 100 philo, and 50 myth

Thanks for the write up! Did this one twice. Both times the last boss gave us some trouble but we made it through. Gotta kill the adds or get their HP low, or she'll swallow them up and do some massive damage...

Second boss is chaotic but super fun.

Could be wrong, but I think that final add she spawns is the original Haukke Manor boss? Lady Whoseherface

3rd add spawn for the last boss is the final boss from the original haukke manor.

also for the first boss, you should spread out the adds so they aren't all in one spot when they die. if too many spawn a super-mob will spawn that does a high damage aoe, or you'll just be overrun with adds.

I got to do this last night and we wiped twice before we got it right. First time I'd wiped a DF story mission, leveled from 29 to 30 in the Manor.

That "Dark Mist" puts you in an awfully long stun and I could NOT seem to run out of the circle fast enough to avoid.

Third time I just stayed engaged with the Dark Lady and carefully husbanded my Shield Bash to the point I did very little actual attacking, just interrupting her big hitters (Void Fire, Void Lightning(?), Dark Mist) with SB while the two DPS (BRD and ACN) killed everything.

She will do Blood Rain regardless of whether she swallows them or not, as soon as one mob is down to 1 hp, expect Bloody Rain incoming. The damage is in proportion to the HP left on Adds (the more Dams, the more it hurts). The only problem with her is when two adds spawned at the same time. You have to time them, so that the party has time to recover in between, or kill them both at the same time.

For the first boss, it is pretty much a DPS race. The boss has to be killed before a big gigantic skeleton spawned or you will be in some serious beating. As a Paladin, I go to Sword Oath after doing a few rotation on him to generate hate with Shield Oath, from there, I just need to take care of the boss and the DPS can take care of the adds. They are very squishy, so a DPS fairly geared should not have any trouble tanking the adds for 3s, they hit life a mosquito bite, so Healer will not have any problem healing them. The same can go for the boss, and that is why, Pal can afford to go Sword Oath.

For the stunting part, she is immune to Stun after 2 hit or so, I am not so sure about how many hit she can take before being immune but I know for sure, you can not stun all of her attack during the entire fight. Silence does not work either.

Also for the last boss, after all the adds spawn, she'll do a charm spell and start sucking people in towards her. This is also a major dps race as if she does it enough times (3 I think) she'll insta kill one member by sucking him in, and AoE the rest and that will insta kill everyone.

With the new 'stun nerf' from 2.1, the cooldown timer now starts with the last non-resisted stun/sleep/silence, which is the 3rd one, and then all stuns/sleeps/silences are resisted for 30 seconds. Use to be the timer started with the first stun(etc.), which meant that you could in most cases keep stuns up on the critical stuff the whole fight. Note that stuns and silences (etc.) each have their own timers, so some things give you 6 whacks at them, not just 3 if they can be interrupted with either.

For the 3rd boss, this means you have 3 shots at stunning that awful Dark Mist before she resists for 30 seconds thereafter. However, after the first add is down she gains a buff that makes her immune from all interrupts for the remainder of the fight. Argh. And frankly, I think she only tries to launch Dark Mist 3 times before then anyway. I am not sure if it can be silenced as well as stunned.

I have only once succeeded in running out of the Dark Mist circle when I was in tanking position. The other times I've avoided it I was in the process of repositioning her to a different spot in the arena and was already mostly out of the range of it when she started her induction.
