Sony E3 press conference coming up!

Sony press conference was well done, they appologised for the psn outage but didn't make too much of it. Showed of some of their exclusives (uncharted3, infamous2 etc..) then moved on to ths PS vita, personal feeling they should have left it at NGP. They are very clever and priced it just right $250 wifi and $300 3G (but exclusive to AT & T was probably a very bad more) this puts the wifi verson at the same price as the 3DS. The games look good and the developers are making use of the novel control systems, the finger painting in drake was very cool. CCP and bioshock both mentioned they will be making games which is good to know.

BUT!!! where is SE so far there has been a weak teaser trailer for FFXIII-2 nothing of verses and XIV has not shown up at all, though i did see a poster in the background of one of the interviews which i was hoping would indicate that they would be announcing the PS3 date. Their other studios i.e Edios are doing well Tomb raider, deus Ex to name just 2 that are being shown off at E3, but what of SE nothing. Maybe tomorrow Yoshi P will give us some news because its starting to be over due for a new letter from the producer.

Worst Feature PSVita has is the 2 hour battery life....

Superior graphics is just an evolution hardware though Sony & Microsoft both stay at the forefront but there systems suffer from over heating issues.

Over heating aside, I don't care about the gimmicks and I don't think its "game changing" I just think it brings the best of consoles into handhelds and considering I hate handhelds and it got my attention I'm happy. I think its lineup is the most important thing to me and Uncharted is a good way to take off. Hopefully some MGS and FF games and it'll be golden.

anyone who complaing about sony show really? is all you guys do is complain matter if they show shit load of stuff? Xbox show noting but 2-4games and the rest like kids game.

Game changing how?

Assuming it gets the same attach rates as a console and third party support is dialed to 11, the entire gaming industry could see a shift to portable gaming as an adequate substitute for consoles. What this would mean is that game budgets could be smaller, being that the Vita would use a smaller resolution(art assets are apparently the most expensive aspect of development in HD consoles right now), and more risks could be taken being that budgets wouldn't be crazy sky high. This in turn would lead to more creative and ideally, fun and new IPs. Being that the Vita also has the potential for expandable memory thanks to high capacity flash and internal memory, game size might not be that huge an issue, and thanks to so many control options, traditional experiences won't have such a hard time making the transition to the portable.
