This can't be intentional making the pet system more clunky than before. The restriction of not being able to command your pet independent from it's current stance makes no sense whatsoever.

You are. You just need to use a stance, any will do.

I put her on Obey, then on Heel, so she follows me while saving the cooldowns.

It's a little annoying to have to use it at every wipe, though. I wish this was the default.
