Ninja Bard nerf?

I could be wrong but thanks for ninja nerf done to bards.

Blood Letter = 150 potency and now it's 130 potency
Straight shot = 140 potency and now it's 130 potency

I didn't bother to go test on dummys and do the math to see if tool tip is wrong or it's a ninja nerf but yeah...what's up with the ninja nerf?

Oh and I could be wrong...I'm just using google and looking at sites that had the old information pre 2.11 patch. So if I am wrong sorry!

Pre 2.1. Your numbers are correct. I haven't logged in to 2.1 yet myself.

Seriously...WTF SE/Yoshida, why leave that out of patch notes and explanations....lowering the lowest dps even further... the nerf to blood for blood (dmg) internal release (crit procs) and hawk's eye (dex buff) wasn't enough? Especially losing the internal release crit bonus already lowers the number of bloodletters we get but now all of them drop in potency as well?

Why does every MMO recently feel the need to nerf the bow-wielding classes hard? Several other MMOs have been doing this in the past few years (including Guild Wars 2 with the Ranger class), and I have yet to understand how the balance guys think when they do this. I really hope these changes aren't real in this patch, otherwise I'm seriously going to consider changing my main class.

Confirmed. The potencies did change. They did, infact, ninja nerf BRD.

Is this true? I don't remember reading anything about bard potency nerfs. I don't get it. Bards don't compare to other good dps in coil. Whats with the hate?

I hope enough people flag this conversation to get some sort of response. While I don't really worry about the other changes, this one has very high potential to completly wipe of off the map. Might as well run a SCH and go full DPS (Have some heal support and more dps than BRD at that point) mode if these potency changes are true and do remain. [exageration ~ maybe~]
