    Obviously nobody will ever bring BLMs for anything ever again. It will be the most undesirable and weakest class in the game. All because Scathe got nerfed a little and Blizzard II got a damage nerf.

    The best aoe rotation was, B3 wait a split second flare, umbral would proc mp, flare, convert, flare, mp Pot, flare, b2, b2, flare, umbral would proc mp, flare, repeat that last part. was able to keep up around 600-700 dps on wp pulls.

    As far as Scathe, yeah prob was nerfed do to pvp.
    B2 meh, w/e
    Freeze cool but still is a placeable aoe can take a time if the location gets buggy because stuff on the ground as it happens with shadow flare sometimes.

    With the boot changes and with ilvl 95 scepter, we will still have the acc we need for anything. It was pretty lame that we where the only class that got half a weapon compared to the rest in 2.0. As in 2.1 blm and pally will be suck with a 95/90 combo vs all others with 95. Im guessing we lose out on 1-2 of our main stats. Worst part now is we need to find the shields location, and farm it. Lets hope we can farm it from primals and not have to wait on the rng from coil as we all know how drops have worked. Some got very lucky others didn't, for my blm i basically was only getting 1item per month in coil.

    I think just having the 2 Magic Damage will make up for the slight gimp in main stat. I do wish the itemization on Spectre/Buckler was better, but it does open up a lot of other slots to not need ACC. (Namely Sorcerer's Coat)

    just came back from overseas, s-e never mentioned anything about umbral and astral level 4?
    then how come in the realm awoken trailer, at 9:15 when fighting ultima, the blm has 3 fireballs circling him?

    as of now level 3 umbral and astral only give 2 balls of elements, hopefully they're not just changing adding ball to the stance

    They are.
    Motions and effects have been changed for the following:
    Statuses
    Greased Lightning I / Greased Lightning II / Greased Lightning III / Astral Fire I / Astral Fire II / Astral Fire III / Umbral Ice I / Umbral Ice II / Umbral ice III
    Just an effect change.

    Pretty sure that's exactly what's going to happen, lol.
    Evidence 3 fireballs when you AF cap is 3 can't really be a coincidence.

    Anyone know if there is a macro command to let you cast Freeze at your current target, without aiming or clicking a 2nd time... Or am I asking for too much?

    So, uh... yeah... BLM is a LOT more clunky now. Especially if you dont have a naturally high mana pool... With 239 PIE, my rotation is just unstable, all coming down to when exactly I get a mana tick.
