You kind of skimmed over the point. People have this "Torch and Pitchfork" mentality in MMo's. It just isn't how it works. There are systems in place to help prevent it, stop getting so worked up over it.

This is why I don't care, I don't kid myself into thinking im looking out for the good of the entire community. It happens, the STF deal with it, no more needs to be said. Gotcha, and totally agree with your points as well. No one cares about botting now or RMT mostly because the game is so FUBAR that it's really low on peoples mind, down the road this may change fast.

You shouldn't assume things. It's not healthy. I just want them to stop botting. I don't care if they keep playing just no botting. If that is watching someone burn then, so be it. I just want a fair environment for everyone.

Also, those preventative measures have done little or nothing to stop it. Harvesting fatigue, fatigue, limited inventory space, and gil not really being important is about all I've seen that does anything preventative, as well as hinder legitimate players. But that's fair, I guess, since we are all hindered in the same way....except that it doesn't stop bots from doing what they do anyway.

Most of what you said is exactly as I predicted. You do seem unintelligent enough to assume I was referring to ingame preventions. You realise that outside of the magic and adventure is a complex system of code, servers, and infrastructure? This is the prevention I was referring to. Automated monitoring and profiling systems outside of the silly ingame restrictions.

I'm aware there was suppose to be reporting that leads to monitoring and etc, but I'm telling you that none of that has come to any fruition that anyone is aware of in game. We see the same bots that have been reported several times. I'm not saying there isn't some sort of infrastructure behind the scenes, but as for what that infrastructure is actually doing proactively is yet to be seen.

Ideally, I wish the game was unbottable. I know that's unrealistic, but that's how I wish it could be. IF that's not an option, I just want bots to be actively researched and alterations to continue to be done to counter then. But I see nothing being done, at all...but lots of debates of bot lynching and bot supporting.

Also, you're just rude. You're not a rep. You're not part of the STF. Debating with you and your "I don't care about bots" involuntarily-supportive-view, isn't helping anything. You are not going to help the situation and you don't care to either. You just want to sit around and call people stupid that want a fair environment.

All I can hope is that your naivety and negativity against my unrealistic, but still hopeful views will show someone that bots do effect the game, that a more active approach needs to be taken, and that some player opinions really are something you need to 'consider the source of' and don't use them as examples for the entire community.

Sorry, I can't live in the nihilistic, counterproductive, and 'uncaring' mindset that you have. But you cannot deny that somehow bots effect you and that their is little to no proof that preventative measures and STF have done much for the game at this point.
