I think the concern is not having to work hard for delayed gratification, but rather the "race" element in terms of the possibility that you could go for a large plot and then simply be too slow.

.... After 3 months.... Overall every FC who plans to buy land just have to be patient and wait around three months................ Sorry but it´s just ridiculous. Who wants to do daily farming for about three months to gain access to an mmorpgs content... There probably are but try to see this from everyones perspective and I think you´ll also agree that a big majority wouldn´t really want to wait that long...
Sure its something we should at least have to farm for a bit and I expected maybe 1 month. But three months which is when the next patch will be released(ish), is that the biggest reason you wanted it to take time? To farm for 3 months to be one of the reasons to make players stay in the game? There´s alot of other enjoyable content that will make us stay in the game, but please dont make this one of the reasons if it is.
I THINK that's just Dailies and Roulette bonus(which I assume is going to be once a day)
I'm actually more interested in the mounts and minions than the housing. I appear to be in the minority, though.
Large Mansions, and furniture and bonuses, SHOULD be something people have to earn after months and months of hard work.
Small, and Medium housing should not, my entire FC has been saving since release and we doin't even have enough for the STARTING plot, not even the house included, I'm sure well SE knows the prices are insane and hopes it's a way to keep us paying.
Small should have been 1 - 3 million gil, that's still very much accesible, but smaller FCs can at least work towards something, Medium should be like 10 - 15, Mansions can be the exorbant prices they are, but don't make the initial thing in the housing market, even unatainable, and even the people who CAN afford it, likely don't want some small plot.
he said on average, not capped at. why is reading comprehension before these kinds of panicked assumption threads so low?20,000 gil per day, limited by daily Roulette bonuses.
It's like all those endgame (Myth, Coil, CT) lockouts that people have been defending, except now they impact everyone!
FFXIV: A Lockout Reborn
2.1: Now featuring lockouts against poor casual players! Say hello to your version of tome/primal grinding hell, now in the form of dungeon/guildhest grinds!
The FC House pricing also TOTALLY ignores the differences between the FC sizes / amount of their members. Not everyone wants to be part of huge 500+ members FC - some (like me) prefer small "family size" FC, some do mainly crafting etc. There is a plenty of small FCs out there with less than 20 members, some even 8 to 10 only. How THOSE can ever afford the FC house? Small example:
Let's say that small FC has 20 members who decide to get a large plot for FC house (as they're mainly crafters and want workshop) so they'll save 20k a day each a give it ALL towards housing and - voila - in merely 500 (200 mill / 20x 20k) days they can afford it - BARGAIN! And after that they'll spend another couple of years to save to be actually able to BUILD the house after which time they'll realize that their plot they've worked so hard for was in the meantime seized as "not being used" ... great!

I'm not sure where I said that you said that. SE on the other hand?
So yes, flawed data according to what SE said for two reasons:Originally Posted by Naoki_Yoshida

- Housing should be available right off the bat, not in 3 months. If it were, they should've just announced prices now and released the housing in 3 months.
- They're taking into account how much money individual members have. Which is, as I stated before, not indicative of the FC's actual available funds.
They never said housing was based off an average in that post.I'm not sure where I said that you said that. SE on the other hand?
