Not sure what the point of your post was. Having an in-game house is not a requirement for anything other than maybe some achievements. They are a luxury. If people want the luxury, they need to save their gil. If they do not want the luxury, they don't need to save their gil.

People need to check their misguided expectations. Expect Free Companies to start charging for membership, at least the ones that are serious about owning property with members that share the same interests.

If small free companies want to get a house faster, time to expend membership.

a FC of 5 people should not seriously expect a mansion in a first class plot in short time. Any that do have been kidding themselves. That is not the developer's fault.
