From the patch notes:Just curious where you are getting that they get Blizzard? As far as I know the only cross class skills for SMN are: Raging Strikes, Thunder (No More), Surecast, Swiftcast, Hawk's Eye, and Quelling Strikes.
The 2.1 patch notes have nothing on Summoner other than them removing Thunder and PVP. So color me confused where Blizzard comes in?
Blizzard II Potency has been reduced from 100 to 50, and the bind effect has been increased from 4 to 8 seconds. Can now be used by all Disciples of Magic.
* Only thaumaturge and black mage gain the effect of Umbral Ice.
Was Thunder really that big of a deal to Summoners? I feel like people are overreacting about this one.
Since when does the rate of the limit break bar increasing matter?
Limit breaks are not even needed at all, they are a crutch for badly geared players and mistakes.
Sure it helps in certain situations, but in certain situations you can do more damage faster by bringing a certain setup of DPS than a limit break can even do throughout the entire fight.
Booting summoners from statics?
Why would my coil group boot the only dps that can battle raise, off tanks adds, and still do good dps? Really a clutch summoner save raids with quick battle raises and picking up adds with titan-egi. Heck my LS coil t4 strat uses titan-egi to collect soldiers and we clear it before enrage. So yeah, not being booted.

Like a good stalker, I'm always there.
Well, a full duration Thunder offers 240 potency. Now the only alternative to use in place of it is to start Ruin / II which is 80. So every time you'd ordinarily use Thunder, you've lost 160 potency compared to what you had in 2.0.
Well atleast you guys got an AoE filler..... lol (honestly they shouldnt have touched Blizzard II and Thunder)..
What's the potency on Miasma II (short range AoE dot, right?)?
Oh ok, I was looking for SMN notes, not elsewhere. Easy oversight. Thanks for the info!
Thunder is not a big part of your damage, stop pretending it is.
