    PVP gear is new gear. Just look at this thing you can wear on your head:

    I am not sure how you are supposed to wear that but it is head gear for conjurers liek yourself and you can even dye it

    And look how awesome this Bard headgear is:

    They can wear lion head on their head and it can be any color they wish.
