    Really? aww that sucks. Its one thing to keep us Legacy here but they shouldn't punish new players for joining our servers

    Probably did that so that Legacy players couldn't make and alt on their legacy server, transfer the goodies/gils to it and then transfer the fully-funded/geared alt to the new server...

    But I agree, there should have just been a gil cap+ made us not able to transfer any non rare/ex item transfer to any server. For any character after the first month (since people on those servers had multiple level 50's by then anyway). Done. This way legacy 'wealth' couldn't affect newer servers and/or be ported over in 'hidden' ways (such as high priced crafting mats) but people could be free to move as the please.

    Esp. since it seems SE wants the Legacy servers to become barren wastelands anyway...
