There's more people to pull from in the DF. There's nothing guaranteeing that you won't be stuck LFG for an hour for that SV group on your local server only.

Both will be useful.
I honestly dont think party finder will be used much. This isnt the first "party finder" ive seen in MMOs and they were so useless before that ... well .... they all eventually led to a cross server tool like DF. Hell, just spamming in towns would yeild better results than an in server party finder.
/shrug Hope this game is the exception, but I doubt it.

party finder will most likely be slower since its server only you have less of a pool of people.

Will we be able to use it for instances that are not in the DF?
Coil, Chimera, Hydra?

There was a similar party finder feature in 1.0 which nobody used because they prefer shouting. People who shout want more control over their group most of the time +1 relic lv90 gear ect for speed run. Given that the party finder feature lets anyone click join. I don't know if party finder would catch on much its only good if people actually use it.
I would stick to DF personally because already get instant queues.
tired of shouting hours for a T1 group only to fail at the first boss. this was a great idea!
edit:*sigh* nevermind
