So, will DL gear not be enough for Crystal Tower?

Full Darklight Item Level: 70
Many of us will be running this dungeon MASSIVELY OVERGEARED. A party in full 90 will likely be able to pull the weight of 2 parties.

4 bosses. 36 loots. The way they try to extend the life of 2.1 literally feels like cheating already. It's not going to be fun raiding CT for half a year and only manage to obtain 1 to 2 pieces of a set due to RNG.

Just keep running it until you've gotten your item for the week. Its not like Coil where you only get 1 Attempt at an item per week. You can keep running it over and over and over, even after you've looted your one per week loot.

I thought the lockout was an item / loot specific lockout, not a weekly one? That's what I recall anyhow.

You can loot one item per week. Even if you don't roll Need or Greed for it and everybody else just pass it into your inventory.

I'm hoping for the Onion Pants myself so I can replace the Darklight ones, and use my myth to buy my Wyrm Gauntlets. The Pants are the item that shows the LEAST on a DRAGOON while playing him in his AF/MYTH armor.

Probably with set drops, though (like how the hoplite tabard only drops from the last chest in AK)
